Hi there, lovely question.
Please could you share about your dream job, passions and what field of MSE i.e. :(is it Electrical, Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical, e.t.c). Semi-conductor industry is a multi-disciplinary field and all the above have a part to play in that value chain. Therefore, depending on what your dream is, and line of study is this advice can change. Longevity in this field comes from doing what your passion is. However, that aside generally having some form of data analysis coupled with AI, programming understanding like python would be skills that cut across fields.
Myself I have done VLSI courses, programming, Statistics, Circuit design but my passion is circuit design/analysis.

Hello, thank you for your prompt response, Im sorry but I should have been clearer by MSE I mean material science engineering, not master of science and engineering - I was trying to fit under the word count. By that measure my interests are in the material/chemical side of engineering, and within the context of micron, presumably more on the manufacturing side of the industry, although I am open to other applications of my degree within the field. Thanks.
