I think that I would need more information on the two types of positions you're referring to to more fully answer this, but at a high level, I would say yes! Micron is flexible in our career paths and we do not consider it a "one path fits all". My career journey from the fab to facilities was certainly not a standard one. Having a conversation with your manager about your career goals and aspirations would be the first start to starting down your own path! After that, Micron works to provide you the opportunities needed to gain the skills required for the role you desire.
