There are so many different opportunities that I'll generalize them into two categories - informal and formal.

On an informal basis, almost any role or project will involve collaborating with a team and reporting up to their supervisor at some point, whether it's to provide a status update or get approval for a proposal. This relationship developed through regular work opens the opportunity to discuss broader topics, like navigating the company or industry. It's also fulfilling to get to know them as people and there are lessons to be learned on that personal level, too. I've found that Micron's senior employees - from Senior Managers up to VPs - make an effort to be available for questions and one-on-ones.

A more formal avenue is through employee resource groups (ERGs). For example, Micron's Young Professionals ERG has an excellent mentorship program in which early career employees are matched with more senior employees for 12 weeks of mentoring. Mentorship topics are determined by individual groups and can range from personal finance to professional certifications. MYP also hosts open discussion panels with members of Micron's C-suite, including the CEO, in which members can asks questions directly to our highest levels of leadership.
