Hello!
Micron offers a variety of training that is position dependent for new hires. We typically pair new hires with a "buddy" who is available for the new hires to ask question, show them the ropes and guide them to being a productive employee. We have a variety of different online courses which new hires are set up with when they first arrive to learn about the company, our IP and safety standards, job specific duties, etc.
We also have a "bootcamp" which many new hires go through. This is ~2 weeks long and helps train new hires in the software we use (Micron utilizes a lot of homegrown software which will be new to anyone first joining the company). In this course, new hires also learn basics about how the fab runs, semiconductor manufacturing, and other Micron essentials. It's a great introduction to Micron and our product process.
Micron does a great job setting our new hires up for success, especially considering we are in such an advanced technology environment!
