One of Micron's core tenants is valuing people and caring for one another, and I think that's an idea that soaks all the way through every level of the organization. It became pretty apparent to me on day one that the whole of the company puts an emphasis on having a good quality of life for employees, because we are most productive when we are happy. There is a sense of understanding for those that have families that sometimes your responsibility lies elsewhere, and for someone like me who doesn't currently have my own family, there is a really good balance between work and my home-life. I believe that compassion is one of the things that effects the company culture the most, and in turn, helps long-term employee retention.
To answer more bluntly, I feel that Micron has a "Team-first" corporate culture. The atmosphere here is very friendly and compassionate, and one of the things that I enjoy most about working here.
